Our History

New Mec was founded in 1983 in Cavaria, in the province of Varese, as an artisan company specializing in the manufacturing of forged steel fittings, initially operating as a subcontractor in support of the petrochemical sector.

The period between 1990 and 2000 marks the beginning of a significant expansion: the company made a strategic leap and started marketing its products directly under the New Mec brand.

The start of the new millennium was dedicated to expanding the product range. During these years, diversification into multiple industrial sectors and applications became the core concept and driving force of the company’s entire activity.

Today, New Mec is recognized as a leading and reliable company in the production of fittings for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Boiler manufacturing sectors. This reputation is well established at the national level and supported by a qualified and growing presence in the most demanding international markets.

In addition to maintaining adequate stock levels of its standard product range (in accordance with ANSI B16.11), New Mec consistently supports customers’ specific requests, building partnerships aimed at developing products that meet every new requirement.
